Marie Richards is an industry leader with more than 25 years of experience in all facets of real estate. A native of Milton, MA and a Boston College alum, Marie is familiar with the unique neighborhoods of Boston and Charlestown, as well as the towns of the North and South Shores. She has made Boston her home for many years and is therefore able to provide first-hand knowledge to her clients. “I want each Buyer to love this wonderful city as much as I do!”

Marie’s love for real estate began with her very first job - working for her family’s real estate property management company that specialized in luxury rentals. Early on, she recognized the value of networking, and she focused on building strong community ties and a pool of trusted resources that she is quick to share with her clients.

After graduating from college, she expanded her general brokerage scope and began to work with Buyers/Sellers as well as Tenants/Landlords. Marie's first new development project was at Flagship Wharf in The Charlestown Navy Yard selling luxury condominiums. She was praised for her client-centric approach, recognizing that each interaction was an opportunity to build and nurture relationships.

Marie places a high value on providing exceptional client service. She believes that really “knowing” her clients and understanding their needs is a critical first step in assuring a successful experience. “I credit my success to taking the time to listen to my clients. To me, understanding their objectives is one of the most important parts of the process, and honestly the part of my job that I enjoy the most. Whether my clients are buyers, sellers, or investors, the first thing I do is meet with them to gain a comprehensive understanding of their goals, timeline, budget, etc. so that I can help them make the best choices. It is my business to understand their objectives in order to provide thoughtful guidance every step of the way.”

Marie is an expert negotiator and has single handedly represented over 120 successful transactions in the past five years. Marie has ranked in Boston's Top 20.
